DOT Number
If you are a driver carrying passengers or interstate commercial cargo you need to file your DOT or USDOT with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration FMCSA. Those who transport hazardous material, even if only within the same state, will need to process it in the same way.

You have a gross vehicle that weighs more than 10,000 pounds. That weight includes cargo.
